Just stuff... [April 8th, 2007 06:28 PM] [ mood | pensive ] [ music | Los Tres - Camino ] I know I haven't updated in ages, but seriously, I've been way too busy.  I really don't have a life now.  Literally, when I'm not home at at the movie theatre (working).  I am not doing as good as I thought in school, not because I can't keep up, but because it's been hard to get used to the system after the 1 year hiatus.  Nevertheless, it hasn't been awful either, I just need to keep on working and everything will be alright... at least I'm not skipping class like last time, now I'm being super responsible and stuff.  And at work I think I'm doing just fine.  I am at the box office, working with the real money (ha!), and just one time I lost some: about 6 dollars.  It hurt my pride and my pocket ('cause honestly, I don't make much), but it's pretty good for a week-old employee.   I don't really have anything interesting to say... oh, right, I am 22 years old now (thanks for all the congrats, I love you!).  My last two birthdays have been special in their own way, and I missed some important people in both.  I got an e-mail from my host mom, and it only made me remember how great she is and how much I miss her and the whole family.  Sometimes I stop to wonder if coming home right away was the right thing for me to do...  A very big piece of my heart is there, with so many great souls...  But then again, saying good bye after being with them for a longer period would have been even more painful.  Now I'm just glad they were and are part of my life, and I'm positive I will see all of them again, sooner or later.  I will work my best for that to happen. Okay, lots of things need to be done now...  I don't want to make empty promises, so I can only say I will update as soon as I'm not too tired to do it XD.  I love y'all.  Oh, and if you watch The Reaping, Concepción, Chile, is NOT what they show.  It's not even close to that.  I hate when stupid people make assumptions based on the belief that Latin America is just a bunch of third world countries...  Makes me sick to my stomach -_-... 4

[February 16th, 2007 08:57 PM] [ mood | chipper ] [ music | Clocks - Coldplay (Rythms del Mundo version) ] Cold, rain and snow in the middle of summer?  In central Chile?  Wicked!  We could use a bit of water and cold air.  Weird, but still pleasant.  At least for me, not for the tourists looking for sun and heat who had to deal with snow.  Heehee! Oh, and to randomize this a bit more, I found a new obsession:  House M.D.  I'm downloading episodes like the download whore freak I am.  Oh yeah, like totally into it! XD. Yup, just to post, nothing really worthy of being said... 2

You see, when you have to listen to a 20 something showing off all day, all day long about her ex boyfriend's money, cars, credit cards, degree, friends, etc...  you end up pretty much fed up, right?  Or when she does the same thing, but about relatives (second cousin, twice removed kind of relatives).  Or when she repeats, like a parrot, how fat she is (NOT).  Oh sacred Google, save me!  She doesn't live in my city, but she is trying to get an intership here.  And she is THIS close to getting it.  Google, SAVE ME!   You guys may think I'm exaggerating, but by Google, I'm not.  You may think I'm mean...  In normal circumstances, I'm not.  And I'm never mean to her.  But if I can't vent here, where can I? 3
